Zoya Gossip Collection: LC (Lauren Conrad)

Zoya Gossip Collection LC

The nail polish we’re wearing in yesterday’s video (which, by the way, thank you for your sweet comments about Janey…she is quite a character) is LC from the Zoya Gossip Collection .

Named after The Hills’ star Lauren Conrad, it’s a summer cream red that looks great against all skin tones.

Even though Zoya polishes are Toluene Formaldehyde and DPB free, they are amazingly long-lasting and durable. The manicure you see here is already 5 days old and, aside from the bit of pink sparkly polish on our middle finger (resulting from a slip while painting Janey’s nails), it still looks great. No chips at all and the edges are just beginning to wear.

Nic’s Sticks by OPI

A few days ago, Janey spotted an ad for Nic’s Sticks Paint & Go Nail Lacquer by OPI in US Weekly and has been carrying it around with her since, begging to get the entire collection.

We finally headed over to Target last night where they had the DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free polish pens on display.

After selecting Feeling Girly , a soft pink, and Com-pewter-ized, a pale metallic blue, she carefully painted her fingernails, alternating colors. The quick-drying formula is simple and mess-free in the Paint & Go format.

We wanted to paint our own nails with the Nic’s Sticks this morning but Janey hid them after she painted her nails last night. Living in a house full of girls, she’s learning fast.

Zoya Erika, part XXVIII

Okay, you’re probably sick of hearing about the Erika nail polish from the Zoya Chitchat Collection, but someone recently pointed out that we never showed you the final product.

Zoya Chitchat Collection: Erika

Thanks to our beloved Nikon D50’s current state of broken-ness we’re using a crappy little Coolpix that doesn’t want to cooperate, hence the blurry photo.

What you don’t see in this photo is that Erika has a pretty gold undertone that sparkles in the sunlight. So pretty.

What do you think? Would you wear it?

‘Pedi’ Colada at Bliss Spa

bliss49 at 49th and Lexington

During our last trip to New York, we stopped by the bliss spa at 49th and Lexington for their new ‘pedi’ colada pedicure treatment.

This 60-minute visit to heaven includes a pineapple-infused coconut milk soak, a shredded coconut scrub and a hot sea shell massage. In addition, we were served a tray of yummy snacks and a virgin pina colada to keep us busy while our feet were being pampered.

Every time we have a pedicure at bliss, we walk away with the softest feet ever which is most likely contributed to the pre-soak sloughing. While this is the most uncomfortable part of the pedi (we squirm while the pedicurist dry-sloughs our heels with a magic diamancel foot file, wondering just how grossed out she is by our feet) it’s over quickly and leaves our heels seriously smooth.

This is the kind of indulgence every girl should treat herself to every now and then.
