New Sun Products from MD Skincare

MD Skincare SPF 45 Sunscreen

If there’s one thing we’re consistent about (other than being inconsistent), it’s applying sunscreen. Rain or shine, we keep our skin protected from the sun’s harmful rays with daily SPF.

MD Skincare, one of our favorite skincare brands (the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel is one of our all-time favorite products) is releasing some delightful new sun products and we couldn’t be happier.

Powerful Sun Protection SPF 45 Sunscreen Cream is an oil-free water-resistant formula that is ideal for people with active lifestyles. It absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy residue and retains its SPF protection through 80 minutes of perspiration and water activity.

Powerful Sun Protection SPF 25 Lip Balm

Powerful Sun Protection SPF 25 Lip Balm protects the delicate lip area with UVA/UVB sun protection, powerful antioxidants and contains an iron-encapsulating Chelator which promotes healthy skin by removing iron residue left on skin by tap water and perspiration. This lip balm is so soothing and yummy, we found ourself applying and re-applying the entire duration of our flight home from New York. We might have been sleep deprived with huge dark circles under our eyes, but our lips were smooth and moisturized.

These new products are currently available for pre-sell on the MD Skincare website with a projected ship date of February 19th.

Fountain of Youth

MD Skincare Hydra Pure Firming Body Cream

If we lived close enough to New York City and the office of Dr. Dennis Gross, we would stop by each and every morning and give the brilliant doctor a kiss on his cheek to show our appreciation for his amazing products.

Dr. Gross is the creator of MD Skincare, the company behind our beloved Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel, and is now launching a revolutionary body cream that not only hydrates and firms, but promotes long-term collagen production and removes unwanted minerals and impurities left on the skin by water. Hydra Pure Firming Body Cream increases the water content of skin by providing triple-phase moisturization with essential oils, humectants and chelators (these soften water to remove calcium).

We saw immediate results from this product, waking up to dewy skin after only one application. The cream is light and blends well, without any greasy residue. The only downside is the price at $120 for 6.7 ounces (which we’re guessing would last us about 4 weeks). But hey, you can’t expect the Fountain of Youth to be cheap.
