Yesterday, after a short business trip left us with a few hours to spare before our flight home, we stopped by the Shu Uemura Lash Bar at Neiman Marcus for a set of false lashes.

Since we didn’t have any special plans, and wouldn’t be arriving home until late into the night, we settled for a subtle pair of Brown Cross Lashes at the recommendation of the lash bar girl.

We’ve never even worn brown mascara before, so we were wary of her choice, but they looked incredible. These lashes added volume and length without looking like false lashes. (Keep in mind that our natural lashes are SUPER skimpy and short. If you were blessed with long lashes, these are probably not long enough for you.) Once the lashes were on, you couldn’t even tell they were brown as they blended nicely with our natural black lashes.

Now we can’t wait to go back and try a more daring pair!
