There’s nothing pretty about chapped lips

Kiehl's #1 Lip BalmBeing hopelessly addicted to lip balm, lip gloss, chap stick, lip smackers, or really anything worthy of moisturizing our lips (we’ve been known to use baby lotion when we’re in a pinch) we can’t help but notice when someone is in desperate need of some lip therapy.Renee Zellweger

For some reason, Renee Zellweger ALWAYS HAS CHAPPED LIPS! What is up with that? Is it because she doesn’t want to carry a clutch to her red carpet events and ends up high and dry by the end of the evening? Does she like her lips looking so parched that if she dared to crack a smile they might split and fall off?

Someone please get this girl some Kiehl’s #1 and pronto!

Because Matt is Hottt

Bourjois Matt LovelyWe believe that beauty begins with great skin (and a great attitude, of course!) which is probably why we have a drawer full of exfoliators, eye creams, night creams, sun screens, serums, toners and masks. Seriously, we should have a skin care party. Want to come over?

Even though we take meticulous care of our skin, try to exercise and eat right (and drink right!) there’s still those times when we need all the help we can get.

Lately our combination skin has taken more stock in the “Oily” market and leaving us with an unflattering shininess come lunch time. Fortunately for us, there’s products out there for catastrophes like this and Bourjois has just the remedy.

Matt Lovely is our new boyfriend.

Not only does he go on smooth and sheer, but he keeps us looking beautifully fresh and matte ALL DAY LONG!

And the best part of all: He could not care less about Monday Night Football. This is the boyfriend we’re keeping.

In case you’re longing for summer

Estee Lauder Cool Bronze Loose Powder

We’re not shy in admitting that autumn is our favorite season.

The cool mornings, warm afternoons, the leaves (oh the Aspens! they’re glorious!) and the extra care it takes each morning to add a scarf, extra rich hand cream, or a swipe of deep red lipstick.

Yes, for sure we love fall.

But somehow, the carefree days of summer are still holding us back. We’re not fully in fall’s groove yet and we found the best beauty product to help us portray thisCoach Meredith Boots.

Estee Lauder’s Cool Bronze Loose Powder from their Amber Bronze collection is light, sheer, and has enough coolness that when we first applied it we thought our powder brush was damp. Yet we’re glowing in all the right ways, and looking forward to full swing fall and these gorgeous Meredith Boots by Coach.

Flirt!

Flirt Lip GlossWe tend to like lip glosses that are sheer, non-sticky and have a hint of sparkle. It also helps to have an easy application process because we apply lip gloss, like, 469 times per day.

This Flirt! Squeeze Me Super Shiny Lip Gloss passes our test with flying colors (28 of them to be exact) and even has a shade that is perfect for us to wear alone or over our favorite lipstick: Pink Champagne! (Not the color shown here.)
Doesn’t that sound delish?
